About Dr. Jack A. Maggiore

Dr. Jack A. Maggiore, MT(ASCP), PhD, DABCC, FAACC, is Medical Director of the Regional Core Laboratory and Point of Care Testing at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He also serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center.

With expertise in clinical chemistry, protein electrophoresis, and laboratory diagnostics, Dr. Maggiore is actively involved in the implementation and evaluation of advanced laboratory technologies, including capillary electrophoresis and immunotyping for the detection and characterization of monoclonal gammopathies. His work focuses on optimizing laboratory workflows, improving diagnostic accuracy, and supporting the clinical management of patients with plasma cell disorders such as multiple myeloma.

As a board-certified clinical chemist (DABCC) and Fellow of the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (FAACC), Dr. Maggiore combines scientific expertise with practical laboratory leadership, helping clinical laboratories adopt innovative, automated solutions to enhance efficiency, reproducibility, and patient care.
